• Design and develop state-of-the-art user software that controls the lab automation and high-tech instruments
• Find and implement technical solutions in close collaboration with experts from various scientific disciplines
• Deliver application-ready platform features and extensions for internal users and customers

• Several years of practical experience with C# or Java, or C++
• First experience with Python and modern web UI technologies such as angular, react, or similar
• Experience in embedded systems engineering
• Good knowledge of software engineering methods and software architecture
• You thrive working in an agile environment, with an accurate way of working and a pragmatic mentality
• Passion for software engineering
• You are committed to finding and independently implementing a sound solution when faced with a challenge
• Work eligibility in Switzerland: CH work permit/passport or passport from an EU or EFTA country

• Ideally previous experience in the development of machine/ instrument control software
• WPF skills are an advantage
